INCI declaration of ingredients:
Silica, Aqua, Xylitol, Glycerin, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Lauryl Glucoside, Panthenol, Cyanocobalamin, Allantoin, Maris Sal, Mentha Piperita Oil, Menthol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Fluoride
Further explanations of the ingredients:
Silica:
Silicon dioxide; serves as a mineral base and powder with degreasing and cleansing properties.
Aqua:
Water. It makes up approximately 65% of the human body's weight and is therefore of fundamental importance for bodily functions, including those of the skin. In many cosmetic products (aqueous solutions, cleaning agents, emulsions), water is the ingredient with the largest quantitative proportion in the formulation and forms the basis of the aqueous phase in emulsions. Water is a good solvent for polar (hydrophilic) substances such as alcohols, water-soluble vitamins, or salts. For use in cosmetic products, the water used is generally pretreated to remove microorganisms that could lead to product spoilage or dissolved salts that could potentially impair the stability of emulsions or gels (sterilization and desalination).
Xylitol:
Also known as xylitol or birch sugar, it's a low-calorie sweetener compared to table sugar.
Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract:
Green tea extract; plant polyphenols have an anti-inflammatory and circulation-promoting effect.
Lauryl Glucosides:
Glucose-based surfactant with excellent skin and mucous membrane compatibility in shampoos and shower gels, obtained from plant-based raw materials.
Panthenol:
D-Panthenol = Provitamin B5: Improves and increases the skin's moisture retention, has an anti-inflammatory effect, and itching is reduced or inhibited. Stimulation of epithelialization: Minor wounds (shaving), skin abrasions, and blisters heal more effectively. When used in hair care products, it is not only deposited on the hair and scalp, but also penetrates them, providing long-lasting benefits. Since pantothenic acid is an important component of healthy hair, scientific studies show that the precursor D-panthenol serves as "food for the hair." It provides long-lasting moisture, improves combability, reduces split ends, improves the condition of damaged hair, thickens hair, and adds shine. It reduces the brittleness of fingernails.
Cyanocobalamin:
Vitamin B12: A vitamin that can only be produced by bacteria, used in skin care to regulate skin irritations, obtained through biotechnology.
Allantoin:
Allantoin is a body-identical, water-soluble substance and chemically related to urea. It occurs in various plants but is now synthetically produced for use in cosmetics. Its most important property is the stimulation of cell regeneration. It promotes collagen formation, skin regeneration, and wound healing, stimulates desquamation, smoothes the skin, and can have a soothing effect on atopic dermatitis.
Maris Sal:
Sea salt, as a peeling or in salt baths, keratolytic, anti-itch
Mentha Piperita Oil:
Peppermint, has a refreshing and cooling effect and is considered to be of higher quality than Mentha Arvensis
Menthol:
Herbal active ingredient with refreshing and cooling properties
Xanthan Gum:
Polysaccharide, a natural gelling agent with very good skin-compatible properties, is obtained biotechnologically.
Sodium Fluoride:
Sodium fluoride; used in toothpastes to reduce the risk of tooth decay.
